By providing access to qualified contractors who offer professional maintenance and repair services at affordable prices, the Beloit Chore Service has been helping older residents remain independent, and in their homes since 1992.

Some examples of the services available include, but are not limited to: any kind of yard work, snow removal, storm window/screen installation - as well as removal and washing, housekeeping, carpentry, plumbing, electrical repairs, painting, the installation and removal of air conditioners and running errands.

How it works...
The Beloit Home Chore Service actively recruits independent contactors who provide quality service at reasonable rates.

1) All contractors are screened, for any criminal background, code violations, or consumer I complaints. We take great care to ensure contractors in the registry are reputable and trustworthy.

2) When a resident contacts us with a request for service, we contact an independent contractor from our registry that is able to assist them.

3) The independent contractor provides the customer with estimates of hourly rates for the work to be performed, once an arrangement is reached the work begins.

4) We conduct a follow-up interview with residents to ensure that you are satisfied with the quality and cost of the job.

Note: Our program does not negotiate or control fees for service, however, we do ensure contractors offer a fair and reasonable rate.
